Acura Announces June 2011 Sales Results
Acura posted June sales of 8,708, a decrease of 22.8 percent compared to June 2010, based on the daily selling rate*. Year-to-date sales totaled 60,680 units, down 1.4 percent. Although production limitations caused by the March 11 earthquake in Japan continued to improve, reduced vehicle supplies adversely affected June sales results.
The MDX continued as Acura's sales leader with 3,374 units sold. Light truck sales tallied 4,545 units and car sales posted 4,163 units for June, down 20 and 25.5 percent respectively. TL reported 2,296 sales for the month and TSX 1,808 units.

* The daily selling rate (DSR) is calculated with 26 selling days for June 2011 and 25 days for June 2010. Year-to-date, the DSR is calculated with 152 days for 2011 and 151 days for 2010. All percentages reflect DSR.
