Honda Rearview Report: January 17 - January 23, 2015
"Honda's longstanding commitment to build products close to our customers has helped spur the growth of the U.S. economy for more than 35 years. Just this week at the Washington D.C. Auto Show, eleven Honda and Acura vehicles, all produced at one of Honda's four U.S. auto plants in Ohio, Indiana and Alabama, were featured as part of the show's "Made Across America" initiative.
As 2015, the "Year of Honda," kicks into high gear, you'll see the launch of innovative new products designed, developed and manufactured in America. This includes the new Alabama-made Pilot SUV, a new series of VTEC® Turbo engines coming from our Anna, Ohio engine plant, along with the Acura NSX supercar, to be produced at an innovative new production facility, the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio; and also the HondaJet and its HF120 turbofan engines, both produced in North Carolina.
With the support of local communities and the dedication of Honda associates, we will continue to create new value for Honda and Acura customers and local economies, further advancing Honda's significant positive impact on the U.S. economy and the future of U.S-based manufacturing technology."
