"Whether it's a long family road trip or the everyday duties of life, traveling with the family will be a whole lot more enjoyable this summer in the all-new 2018 Honda Odyssey. Our team at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) celebrated the start of mass production of this fifth generation Odyssey this week, which will raise the bar for performance, cabin quietness, family-friendly interior space, comfort and connectivity in the minivan segment.
Demonstrating the important role our team in Alabama has played in fortifying Honda's light truck lineup, Odyssey is the third all-new Honda model to be launched into production at HMA in just the past three years – following the Pilot SUV and Ridgeline pickup truck – which also happened to earn the 2017 North American Truck of the Year.
To advance the performance, quality and value of the 2018 Honda Odyssey, we blended several new technologies and processes with the knowledge and experience of our associates to make the Honda Odyssey the one minivan that will keep everyone in the family happy. We can't wait until our customers get the chance to take their own personal 'Odyssey' this summer."
