Associates Read to Kids in Honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday

In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday, 15 Honda Manufacturing of Alabama associates recently read to over 600 elementary school children at two elementary schools in Talladega, Alabama.
The associates read their favorite Dr. Seuss book to every class at the two schools and donated over 100 books to the library at each school. In addition to enjoying watching the interest of the children during the reading, many of the associates at Stemley Road Elementary School were able to take photos with students, a teacher and parent dressed in their favorite Dr. Seuss character.
For the last 12 years, HMA has been an active community partner with local Talladega County schools by donating over 1,500 books and providing more than 200 associate volunteers to read during the Read Across America event.
