Associates from Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. (HAM) pitched in to make things a little brighter for residents at two Ronald McDonald House facilities in Ohio. This was the first time HAM associates have supported two locations.
In Dayton, 21 volunteers baked treats, organized donations from the community and cleaned and organized kitchen cupboards.
In Columbus, 35 volunteers helped prepare rooms for new visitors, baked treats, made blankets and painted a hallway at the center, located across from Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The Columbus Ronald McDonald House is the largest in the world, with 120,000 square feet and 137 guest rooms.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provide a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost. The organization has 366 Houses worldwide.
