Honda Companies Support United Way
January 3, 2017 – United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to advance the common good.
That’s why Honda associates in Ohio contributed more than $171,000 to the 2017 United Way Campaign this year. More than 69 percent of associates in Ohio gave to support their communities.
Along with Honda of America Manufacturing and Honda Engineering North America, more than $1.4 million was raised during this year’s campaign out of Ohio with Honda’s match.
Honda associates in Alabama also pitched in. Associates at HMA raised $392,625 and with Honda’s match, was able to provide $540,676 to the local United Way.
The total donated by Honda associates this year exceeded $2 million.
