Robotics Students Tour Honda Facility in Indiana

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, Honda Manufacturing of Indiana (HMIN) hosted 30 high school students studying electrical and computer trades through the Columbus (Indiana) Area Career Connection program. Students toured the plant and Equipment Services associates led small-group sessions demonstrating how to interact with and program robots and equipment used in auto manufacturing. Students enjoyed the hands-on activities including the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). The visit was an opportunity for HMIN to expose high school students to career paths in Equipment Services and the Honda Technical Co-Op Program.
